Tools overview

database of Snf2 family proteins database

Scanning complete eukaryotic genomes revealed conservation of most subfamilies over specific evolutionary ranges (Flaus et al). The database enables browsing of the genomic distributions of subfamilies. Convenient entry points are:

motif finder tool

  • motif finder (in development) will determine the subfamily membership for an individual input sequence and display the location of the relevant helicase motifs and conserved blocks.

listings of information

  • subfamilies - functional properties of the sequence-based subfamilies are surveyed in the subfamilies section.
  • structures - overviews about all Snf2 family-related structures.
  • terminology - nomenclature details and index of acronyms are provided in the information section.
